A lot of it also revolves around using self-discipline and planning to improve your diet. You do need to enjoy the holidays, and some overeating is expected, but limiting that to one or two occasions can pay dividends. Try for healthier options, more veggies, and avoid the sugary drinks and candy. Diet plays a large part in your heart's health and it's important to stay on track if you're trying to improve it.
3. Avoid Activities if You're Too Out of Shape
Don’t get involved in activities that you aren’t physically prepared for because it could trigger a heart attack. This should go without saying. If you can’t handle scooping the driveway, have someone who is capable do it. Pay someone if you have to. It is a small price to pay to avoid the potential issues. 4. Recognize the Warning Signs of a Heart Attack
